About Jordan
Jordan W. McFarlane MISM is a professional musician, teacher, and choral director based in Telford, Shropshire. A member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM), Jordan brings dedication, expertise, and genuine passion to every lesson and rehearsal.
Teaching
Jordan offers expert piano and singing tuition from his home studio in Apley, Telford. Students of all ages and abilities are welcome — from young beginners taking their first steps in music to adults returning to the piano or discovering their singing voice for the first time.
With extensive experience preparing students for ABRSM and LCM examinations, Jordan has an excellent pass rate with numerous distinctions across all grades. His patient, encouraging teaching style ensures students build confidence alongside technical skill.
Choral Direction
As an experienced Musical Director, Jordan currently leads the Shifnal & District Male Voice Choir. Following his decision to stand down from Newport Male Voice Choir on 30th March 2026, he has capacity for a new choral appointment and welcomes enquiries from choirs across the West Midlands and Shropshire.
